Dale Le Baron

Oh what a loss! Dale Le Baron was kindness personified. In 1972 I moved back home to Durban to begin teaching,Dale Le Baron was sent to South Africa on assignment to start the Seminary and Institute program in South Africa. I was called as a Seminary teacher and had the privelege of taking part in his training program and participating in his monthly meetings. He inspired everyone with his enthusiasm and obvious love for the savior and the gospel.
I gained such a strong testimony of the gospel as I studied along with the Seminary students I taught .
Dale Le Baron played a huge role in the lives of so many South Africans. He was a missionary in South Africa when our family joined the church and then after completing his assignment as the pioneer instructor for the Seminary and Institute program he later came back as a Mission President to South Africa. It is still so hard to believe that he is gone and our prayers and thoughts go out to all his family . At the same time I think of the young man who knocked him ,Laura his wife and their friend down. This young man must be having such sleepless nights,he needs to know that it was an accident and our prayers are with himas well.Anyone who has experienced ,actually lived through a tragedy or horrific incident knows how hard it is to get that our of ones mind,so I think of him often as well and know that Dale would want him to go on with his life.Laura said as much the other night whenshe was interviewed on TV and what she said was just typical of the Le Baron family. May Heavenly Father bless them all.
