Yip I really did give up and decided to paint the walls across the fireplace one color. 'Ground Nutmeg' The wall that is common to the lounge ,dining room and kitchen area has been given a second coat with 'pita bread ' mixed with the yellow color I had left from the first coat I used for under the whole antiquing project.
