So on Wednesday I got to try out for the first time putting the Gel Satin on the walls. The lady at Lowes told me that you could put gel stain on walls and to just follow the instructions on the tin.Well the only instructions on the tin were for wood .Nevertheless I got started taking note that the tin said to let the stain dry for 3minutes before rubbing. Not very long into the project I learnt that it was very difficult to blend one area already done into the next area. One could always see a joining line.If you happened to put some stain over an area you had already done ,when you came to blending it it would just rub the stain from the previous appication off. A little bit of a disaster as you can see.
Richard came home and said he felt like he ws in 'The Olive Garden' which is a restaurant chain here in the America. When we went to bed later that night ,me very exhausted I might say, he suggested that maybe I should paint some bunches of grapes on the walls like they have in 'The Olive Garden'. I found that very funny and fell asleep chuckling.
