Recruiting Genevieve

Poor Genevieve works so hard at the hospital on her week on that I usually don't like to ask her to help me with anything too strenuous on her days off. Well I gave her a break on Tuesday and then recruited her for Wednesday.I really don't think she knew what she was in for. Kim and I had decided that Emily had really had enough stain fumes ,thinner fumes etc and they took a break. Genevieve arrived thinking she was going to help me for the morning to quickly do a wall. Before she arrived I decided to try doing above the front door which was not a very large area.We ended up doing the whole entrance hall and the one dining room wall that I had originally intended to do.
The night before I had gone to bed with the brilliant idea of adding thinners to the stain and being sure that that meant we would not have to rub so hard to blend it . It worked quite well in the entrance hall, actually giving us a slightly different effect.I think it looks just as nice as the kitchen area ,but gives a good contrast ,almost like painting a wall with a different color for a contrast.
