Sunday 10th Aug / 3 years since my Mom died.

I had these pictures made from some slides. The Drakensberg mountains in South Africa are spectacular. These pictures were taken when my mother had a much deserved holiday at Cathedral Peak. I think it was sometime in the 60's. She was such a lady I was so surprised to see that she actually rode a horse, I bet she was as nervous as can be. She loved playing tennis and golf as a young women that I do know .She grew up on a sugar cane farm in Stanger on the North Coast of Natal. Went to Oakford Prior where she learnt to play the piano from the early age of four , she was a very accomplished pianist and piano accordian player.Later in life she learnt to play the organ .
