Donut Falls

Friday morning 18th July.
Richard and I decided to go on a little hike.
Note little hike. We hopped on the scooter after doing a search on the internet for a short hike that we could do. Donut Falls is up Big Cottonwood canyon and is only about 3.5 miles. we had to hunt for it because the signs to the hike are not very clear,after riding up and down the canyon road and asking a few people we eventually found it.Did the little hike which turned out to be only about 2 miles .

Can you see the donut? One of the other hikers told us that one used to be able to climb right up under the donut but a recent rock fall closed up the entrance .Now one has to be content with seeing the water go inn from the topn and come out a little way down the rocky floor.
