2007 was our year to have the children with us for Christmas. We didn't want the kids driving up to Boise Idaho with the new babies so Richard and I drove down to Utah. We shared our time staying at both Janice /Jory and Kim/Todd's homes.
Richard and I slept at the Tomkinsons home on Christmas eve.The family were all together on Christmas Eve ,we usually have soups and breads on Christmas Eve and just relax together . Johnathan always tries to persuade us to open at least one present but we stick to tradition and make them all wait until morning.
We opened presents early in the morning with Kim , Todd and Wendy . Richard ,Wendy and I went on ahead down to Janice and Jory's home where all the others were to open presents with them.Kim and Todd came down a little later when they had had time to get Emily fed and ready.
Johnathan cooked the ham and roast beef ,and Jory and I'm not sure who else pitched in and cooked the veges.The lunch was delicious , we even got to have our traditional crackers and grape Juice. No Christmas cake or traditional pudding this year,only Johnathan likes the fruit cake and I never had any South Africa fruit mix to bake with this year ,so we did without.
